Adobe InDesign: How Do I Align My Bullet Points?

Do you want your bullet points to look like this, where the paragraph is aligned with the first line of the list?

This is called a hanging bullet, and it’s easier than you think to do.

In the properties panel (if you can’t find it, then go “Window” and then find “Properties”) you’ll see bullet options when you have your text selected.

Then, you set up your left indent as a positive indent, and your first line indent as a negative indent.
