Adobe InDesign: Click Objects Behind Other Objects

It’s very common in layout design to have overlapping objects, and it’s very inconvenient trying to select them.

Here, I have a shape underneath my calendar.

Of course, you can always go to the layers panel and select the object from there.

But, that’s tedious, and when you have a lot of objects in your layout, it’s probably not going to be the fastest method.

Instead, you can hold down Control or Command when clicking to select the object below. You may have to click a few times to find your object.
